WHO IT’S FOR
Much of our experience is with dogs facing existing behaviour challenges. Puppy families can also learn the approach early to help prevent future issues. Because change begins with people, all training starts with one-on-one, in-home coaching. Board & Train is an extension for families who have already trained with us.
STEP 01 · CA$100 / 1 HOUR
Before training, we visit your home to see your dog in their real environment. We meet your dog and observe behaviour at home and on walks, talk face-to-face about your goals and daily routines, review how you currently handle and train your dog, and identify the roots of current challenges.
CLARITY, NOT PRESSURE
You receive honest, practical advice and a recommendation: training, changes to daily routines, or another path that may suit your dog better. This consultation is about clarity, not pressure.
STEP 02 · CA$200 / SESSION
If recommended after the evaluation, we build a plan around your dog, your goals and your routine. Theory and hands-on practice help you understand communication from your dog’s point of view — both what to do and why. We adjust the plan as you progress, rather than following a fixed template.
HOW EACH SESSION WORKS
Before we meet, you complete a short, practical online theory lesson. In-home coaching then provides guided practice in real situations at home and on walks. You receive clear session goals, a step-by-step plan, live feedback on timing and handling, homework between sessions, and adjustments as your dog improves.
HOW MANY SESSIONS?
Most clients complete four sessions. Some dogs benefit from more, depending on their situation and progress. The goal is to give you skills to address current behaviour concerns, build a stronger relationship and help prevent new issues. Scheduling is flexible; the official service page also lists private or small-group options.
Daycare currently serves South Surrey, White Rock, Richmond, Burnaby and Vancouver. Contact us to confirm arrangements for your location.
